David Gudgel of Seattle #4 and PDG Sally Gray are co-chairing the RFH 25th Anniversary Committee.

Rotary First Harvest will organize Rotary work parties at local hunger relief programs throughout District 5030 in which Rotarians will be invited to participate.

We believe that this will be an excellent way for Rotarians to be involved in “hands-on” projects with hunger relief programs, such as local food banks, in their own communities.

At the culmination of these work parties on October 13th, 2007, there will be a casual dress lunch celebration from 1:00 to 3:00 at the Montlake Community Center. This event will honor those Rotarians who have been involved over the years with this worthy project and will be highlighted by an awards ceremony honoring individuals who have made significant contributions to hunger relief efforts. We will also honor local Rotarians who work with RFH, as well as partners like NW Harvest and Food Lifeline and our long-time trucking providers and food donors.
